Beneito Miniatures AUSTRALIAN INFANTRYMAN, NEW GUINEA 1943



This is the second of the latest releases from Beneito Miniatures. It represents and Australian Infantryman. The figure has been sculpted by José Hidalo, its 54mmin scale and consist of seven white metal parts which include two head wear options, either hat or helmet. There is a printed painting guide included in the box as well as some nice colour box art to use as a reference.
We can see below the standard of the sculpted detail and casting quality, up to Beneito usual high standards.



Front and rear views of the main torso shows a nice relaxes pose and two views of the torso and facial detail.


The right arm need a small metal spu removed before a snug fit is achieved into the shoulder joint, the rifle then locates in a vertical position in the palm of the hand exact once the parts are assembled.
Dry fit of some of the main parts show how this figure comes together quite nicely with its relaxed posture. The two head wear options are also shown below, hat or helmet. A close up of the other smaller parts of the kit for your inspection.


Conclusion:
Another nice release to the ever growing range of figures from this long established company. The pose of the figure looks good and test fitting of parts show a good fit. All parts are clean and well-cast with just the usual minimal clean-up of any visible mould lines. A fine addition to anyone who is interested in this era of history and fits in well with other figures in the range. Highly recommended.
