Here we have one of the latest releases from Beneito miniatures which represents a British infantry soldier, Burma 1944. The kit is sculpted by Jose Hidalgo and is cast in twelve white metal parts. All parts are supplied sandwiched between two layers of foam in a sturdy box. There is a painting guide included in the kit and also some nicely painted box art to use as a reference.

A close inspection of the parts show a good level of detail of the parts with only the usual minimal cleanup of the small mould seam lines.

The right leg is cast separate to the main torso and has two locating point to ensure an exaxt fit.

Here we can see the leg fitted and the main figure, the pose of the figure starts to look good once attached to the supplied base.

We can see a different angle on the figue with a test fitting of the hat.

The equipment case locates very well into the location points on the back of the figure.

The right arm is cast with the rife in place as an integral part of the casting, test fitting of both arms show a good fit.

A close up of other equipment and hat included in the kit which shows a good level of detail in the sculpt and casting.

    Conclusion:
A nice release from this long established company with another great choice of subject. All parts are nicely cast and there is the usual minimal cleanup of parts, a fine addition to add to anyone’s figure collection who is interested in this era of history. Highly Recommended.
