WIP Critique Bavarians 1870

    This is one of the projects I have on the go at the moment. A 54mm flat vignette of Bavarian soldiers taking a break.

    As can be seen from the photo it's at an early stage but the plan is to paint the horse first and then move onto the faces of the three figures. Everything else should be easy after that :D:D:D

    Hi, Roger, the shading on the horse is coming along very nicely, I like the warmth of the brown in the highlight.

    May I ask, who is the engraver/maker of this flat?

    The next step is to work on the facings of the cavalryman and then give the areas that have been overpainted by my messy painting a light undercoat.
