This is a 54mm flat from http://www.fredericus-rex.de/ and I'm still working with the Artisan range of oils from Winsor & Newton.
Because they are taking so long to dry I've got half a dozen flats in progress just to try the new paints out on different things. :D

    Thanks fella's.

Carlos, the choice of subjects is huge, if there's anything in particular you're looking for give me a shout and I might be able to point you in the right direction.

Gerard, I have changed the water though. :D

A veritable production line. Those oils won't last long at this rate.

Ron, I'm beginning to wonder why I never tried them before.

Certainly sounds like they have improved the recipe. I may invest in a tube or two myself as they are a reasonable price.

I 'd be interested to hear what you think of them Ron compared to "proper" oils.

Nice progress, Roger! I like your highlighting on the horse, particularly.

    Hi Roger,
That's coming on very nicely mate. As Brad said the highlights on the horse are great, I love the way you bring these flats to life. When I painted my first 120mm horse in oils I put mine on top of the boiler and it helped the drying process.
    cheers

    Thank you Richie.
I've got it under a desk lamp at the moment. (We only flash up the boiler on special occasions :D )

Arrrgh - yes I forgot you are from "T" Yorkshire. But Roger it's no good putting under a desk lamp unless you are prepared to bite the bullet, spend money and actually switch it on.:angelic:
