Time to start the next this time a fun release of a great character from the Blackadder TV series ..

General Sir Anthony Cecil Hogmanay Melchett, VC, KCB, DSO

Sculpted by Pavol Offo Ove

Currently basecoated and beginning with roughly laying in the shadow on uniform ....I am definately painting the flesh next before going to the medal ribbons

I have removed the cast ribbons and replaced then with a gap between the rows ...adding a small VC cross to that one

Also added the lanyard and the collar pin

I’d be interested in how others would approach the hair ...in particular the shine ....with or without varnishes

Mr Fry’s eye colour is a blue ...looking at this I’d say a blue with hint of gray

Thanks Nigel I tried a test with varnish both Satin and Gloss on their own and mixed 50/50 ......didn’t look like what I wanted

Hi everyone

Started working on this gentleman....eyes nearly completed but still things to do on them , also started placing shadows on uniform

Think once eyes done will get the ribbons and gorges patches done then back to the flesh ...yes I know ...”the best laid plans of mice and men”........
