This was a fun project.

This is my interpretation of Woodward Call from the series Lonesome Dove.

It's basically a digital "kit bash".

The head is the Tommy Lee Jones portrait from the amazing Sid Naique. Sid did it as Tommy Lee Jones in Men in Black.

I re-worked it a little bit to try and make him look slightly younger and added his beard/mustache.

The scarf comes from Sid's sculpt of Shea Brennan (Sam Elliot).

The torso is my own, but started life as Sid's Grand Moff Tarkin (Peter Cushing).

The hat is my own.

I painted it with Scale Artist tube acrylics, Scale 75 inks.

Thanks for looking...now, if Sid would only sculpt up a Robert Duvall...

Stunning work, one of those things you look at and think this cannot be bettered. In my opinion one of the top painters in the hobby at the moment.

Have to agree Keith and he doesn't get the recognition he deserves IMHO. An outstanding talent.
