Here are some pictures of one of my latest figures. Been experimenting with various colors and technical stuff like transitions. Learned a lot with this one, and hope to carry it over to the next ones I attempt.

It is a conversion of Andrea Miniatures recent release of Teddy Rosevelt. An amazing sculpt!!

The saddle is one I sculpted/created for VLS back in the day that was detailed with some plastic, lead foil and putty. The chaps and saddle were painted in oils, which is somewhat of an unfamiliar territory for me being an acrylics painter. However, there are plans to further pursue the capabilities of oil's and where they can be effectivly used.

    Anyhow, here are some images!

The blending on the leather chaps is awesome. Excellent conversion and painting.

    Hi Anders,

This is a very attractive figure, and the leather work is great. For me though, the work you did on the white shirt sticks out the most, especially with the contrast to the green of the suspenders. Your hi-res pictures really help see how you accomplished this.

    Thanks for sharing this!

    Fantastic Anders!
Even the saddle could stand as a model by itself.
    Great work.

    Thanks guys!!

The white shirt was a lot of fun, and another experiement of using 'off colors' on a piece. The shirt has a lot of greens in it, as matter of fact, the base coat was a light version of the green suspenders!

I will post larer, high res pictures of this figure on my blog later this afternoon.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply!
