Here are some pictures of one of my latest figures. Been experimenting with various colors and technical stuff like transitions. Learned a lot with this one, and hope to carry it over to the next ones I attempt. It is a conversion of Andrea Miniatures recent release of Teddy Rosevelt. An amazing sculpt!! The saddle is one I sculpted/created for VLS back in the day that was detailed with some plastic, lead foil and putty. The chaps and saddle were painted in oils, which is somewhat of an unfamiliar territory for me being an acrylics painter. However, there are plans to further pursue the capabilities of oil's and where they can be effectivly used. Anyhow, here are some images! Will post larger pictures on the blog later this week.
