Just remembered to post some WIP of my Avian bust.
I'll post some random shots to bring you up to date.

I have just finished all the base shadows for now, time to get my turquoise on!

Nice start. She really is a beautiful bust and I can't wait to see how this one turns out. It will be good inspiration for when I paint my own copy.

Not got much painting done of late due to work and the Corona virus as I am looking out for my mum, my in-laws and one of our elderly neighbours, so been a bit busy!

But, pretty much finished the skin(white is hard to work with) re did the veins under eyes, brought in the NMM finer spikes and headdress and did a bit of OSL!

    Feathers next

Beautiful work, I'm in the process of cleaning mine up so I can paint her over the next few months.

Progress has been slow on her as other things take priority at the moment.

But did get the feathers done, which took an age. Didn't realise how many I had asked the sculptor to do, and this is totally my fault.
Also got the base colour of the hair sorted out so it frames her face properly.
