    Help!
I have this 120mm Bagpiper from the Austrian Army of 1762 and the poor guy needs painted. I have no information what-so-ever so can someone point me in the right direction on the net. After all, he does not want to remain nude so-to-speak, you know, a la natural [in resin] for ever.
    Many thanks

Rod, I believe your figure is this Austrian Artillery Bagpiper, c.1762. It is shown in The Osprey Men-at-Arms title #280 The Austrian Army 1740-80: (3) Specialist Troops. The uniform is red trimmed with silver lace. The cap is turned up with fur and a fox tail. Looks like it would be a neat figure.~Gary

I never knew that the Austrian Army had bagpipes. I always assumed it was a Celtish thing, you live and learn as they say.
