You've waited a long time to get this bust, and now that you have it done, you should be pretty proud. You have done a great job and I cant wait to see it up close. As I have always said, your stuff looks so much better in the flesh, so it must look pretty awesome, as this looks good in the photos.
    Nice one Tony

Thanks Barrie, the eyes were particularly hard work, but I'm pleased you like the final result.

Hi Jay, thanks mate. I'm glad you like the 5 o'clock shadow. It's amazing what a little pastel chalk can do. I think I'll keep this as my avatar for a while.(y)

Hi Roger, thanks mate glad you like the skin tones.

Hi Ben, thanks for your generous comments mate. I've still got your bust at my place, hopefully I'll catch up with you soon and you can have a crack at it too.

Hi Dimitrios, thank you my friend. I appreciate your confidence in my painting ability.(y)

Although it is similar to my own -01 Lighthorseman, your effort is better than my own attempt. Congratulations on a fine job.

Similar - but yours is better

    Tony:
Your bust is similar to my 2001 Lighthorseman but I congratulate you on a much better/finer rendition. My painting skills are nowhere near yours.

    Congratulations again.

Great work Tony! I really like the tanned flesh. Ironically, I just watched 'Gallipoli' last night . . .

Hi Steve, thanks mate. It's always nice to get your support. I'm pleased you like it and I appreciate your comments.

Hi Terry, thanks very much for your comments. I agree the two busts appear similar, however they are fundamentally different. I have your bust in my Grey Army and when you put the two busts side by side, the differences are quite obvious.

Thanks Dan, yet another WW1 ANZAC figure done. Just about to start another.

Cheers Steve, had a lot of fun with this bust as you can probably tell. I appreciate your comments mate.

Hi Jason, thanks very much for your comments. Painting this bust gave me the excuse I needed to sit down and watch "Gallipoli" and "The Lighthorsemen" several times over the past month.
