    Thanks for your comments mate. The issue about catchlights is one that I remain ambivalent about. I've painted some eyes with catch-lights and some without. I like the effect that catch lights achieve, but I agree that they look wrong if you look at the bust from an angle other than face on.

    Hi Carl, thanks mate, and thank you for all your support and encouragement. Hopefully in the next few days I'll get started on the"Winter In the Trenches"bust sculpted by Carl Reid and released by Model Cellar, but with a few differences.

    Lovely job Tony, he definitely has the appearance of someone who has spent many hours exposed to the sun, your flesh tones are very rich and vibrant, just perfect for this bust.
