    Hello All,
Here are the basics for a vignette depicting a couple of Aussies at the battle of Kapyong,Korea.
The weapons have been cast, and added to the figures. One Bren and one Owen.
Dont worry about the twig at the moment,as that will be sorted later.
The red base is Das Pronto, good stuff for roughing out the ground work.
    Comments welcome.

Looking very good so far Andy. Lots of action packed into a rather small space. Will be watching this as you progress.
    Great stuff

They're going to be a great little set, Andy.
I'm not that familiar with Diggers in Korea, was the slouchie still worn by troops in combat?
Looking forward to seeing more progress.

    Pic depicts ANZAC troops 1951.

Very nice vignette Andy. Given that the Bren Gunner is quite busy his pal should be a bit more hunched down/cautious/tense while reloading(?)/changing the mag(?). But for the sake of drama and visibility on the vignette it is allright. Looks great so far.

    Cheers

    Hello All,
The hands have been added and the arms fleshed in.The next step will be to round off the figures, that is flesh them out and smooth down.Comments welcome.

Nice open palm whacking Owens gun mag home mate.
Will you have Bren bipod spayed out as it would move all over The place if trying to fire off a rock?

    Keep it coming,

    Mike

    Mike and Lars,
Thanks for the comments.I will add an open bipod and add some "earth" to that end of the bipod.I will make a mixture of Rock, earth, grass and tree roots to the base, which is a way off yet.
    Cheers

    Andy,

Have you thought about maybe doing a couple of added extra's such as a 303 instead of the Owen and maybe some alternate heads with a Black Watch TOS - as these would be ideal figures (with a wee tweak) to represent the Black Watch's efforts on The Hook...

    Hello All,
Some more work so far. Most of the clothing is added bar the front.Collers need to be done ,etc.Once the hats are done the ground work will be next.I will work arounfd the bren and then remove it last even though the bipod has been keyed in.
    Comments welcome.

Good progress Andy, small point would this time recommend putting Bren gunner trigger finger thru trigger guard to indicate in action vs at the ready.

Good suggestion from Jak to do a Scottish option too, this would make it appealing to a wider audience.

    Stay safe
