Hi everyone!

During 17th-20th August, we'll have the second edition of our workshop "Istoria în miniatură/History in miniature" at the beautiful location of "Nicolae Bălcescu" Museum from Vâlcea county , Romania.
It will be an intensive workshop on the wonderful bust of Saxon made by Paul Deheleanu and released by FeR Miniatures. Special guest, Zeno Mladin, also member PF. Wooden bases from Blackarmymodells (Hungary). Warm thanks to Fernando Ruiz Ceano and Balazs Schuller for their support, also to Alexandru "Olaf" Dumitrescu, George "Buss" Dobre, Csaba Banto and Cristi Florescu for their generous presence and last but not least, Toni Chelcea for his always trust in us and such amazing hospitality.

Thank you, Kevin, we had, indeed, a great time! Here are some photos:

I'll add more, we have some children with us but they worked on 1/72 scale figurines, and a girl, Ana, who painted her first bust, a Landsknecht sculpted by Mariano Numitone. We enjoyed very instructive discussions with Zeno about analyzing a figurine before painting, taking care to different particularities of paintings and how to correct some aspects of them, like a glossy result. Lucian helps out a lot and showed us how to use aerograph and put the primer on the figurine, also making the first shadows and lights! Bogdan explained us how to make better photos, the importance of the same light for work and photo, using different techniques (white balance, aperture etc).
