Evening all, I have started work on the Hussar figures - I started with their Shako details first, then moved down to their main block colours - followed by some detail painting.

Evening all, I have now completed Two out of Three 10th Hussars - they just need a light dry brush sanding then they will be put away awaiting flat coat airbrushing.

Morning all, next bit of figure making/painting - I started off with one of my 54th Ligne chaps and decided to convert him into a "I have just been shot" figures who has fell to his knees, I achieved this by heating the plastic with a hairdryer to soften the plastic - I then just bent his legs behind him till I got the pose I wanted.
I have also made some other figures advancing/loading and firing -

I am also working on Major Baring Second in command - who will be placed inside the farm mounted giving out additional coomands to the KGL troops.
He is not glued down yet just placed to get an idea of how he looks.

Evening all, more horses done - well it includes a re-paint of one of them as I wanted to display Two Dark Chestnuts - so a base colour was mixed - bit of Oak Brown, Red and Yellow till I found a reasonable mix, then after some detail painting - some washes finsihed off with some dry brushed dust.
