Thanks Leigh,
Some of the members were talking about how the flesh looks so different when no other colors are next to it and that is so true. The flesh will take on a different look as I paint up to the flesh. I am so used to how this looks that I don't pay it much attention and can envision what the total piece will look like. Thanks for the kind words. (y)

Thanks Mike, I have had this figure for quite a while and finally got up the nerve to paint it.

Here you can see the difference in the flesh tone with colors base coated next to the flesh paint.

Here are the base colors and you can see that they effect the flesh and the difference between previous postings.

Here is the upper torso base coated with Napoleonic Violet. Looks like crap now......but just wait till later. I ignore the armor area until the torso is completely done....then do the armor.

Thanks Anders,
I will have a design over all the Voilet color. First I will blend and shade as though there would just be a plain color....add design last
then do the adjoining colors next.

Guy

Thanks again John,
I pretty much bounce back and forth with about a dozen different figures in progress.......bad habit........but the way I do it neverless. I have several bust, several 54mm, and several 90mm in the works and work on the one I feel like.

Looking good as all your other work does. What more can I say. Oh yes, LOVE the purple.
