Art Miniature still in business?

    Hi, all,

There was a French figure maker called Art Miniature. They had a nice catalog of 54mm figures, many 18th century subjects, including some civilian vignettes. They were located in Paris for many years, but a couple of years ago, their website showed an address in Madagascar, of all places.

I have a URL of www.figurine-artminiature.com/ for them, but it seems now to be expired or lapsed.

Does anyone know anything about this maker? Are they still in business, with a different site? Gone for good?

I have one of their kits of a French marechaussee circa 1750. I had always intended to get some of the civilian figures they made, but probably missed the opportunity now, if they've closed.

Any info would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!

    Prost!

I have a few of their pieces and look for them as they pop up on Ebay-they covered some interesting subjects.

OK, my apologies, but I realize that I posted this same question in the past:

Of course, that was back in 2011. Since then, I haven't learned anything new about Art Miniature, except that in the intervening years, they seem to have gone out of business. That's what prompted the question this time around.

If anyone has any info-I'm thinking especially of our forum friends located in France-I'd appreciate it. As Keith mentions, they had some interesting subjects in their catalog.

    Prost!
