My problem is build something start to paint it and then get an idea to build something else and jump on it. I do enjoy painting just creating is more powerful

I totally get where you're coming from there, easier for me doing single figures I can chop and change quite easily. When I was predominantly making dioramas it was great, a full.mix of vehicles figure conversion, ground work and painting. I had to be strict with myself though and only have one dio on he go at any one time, which often led to rushing the end and cutting corners, but it was good fun.

Cheers Simon

Hi Simon, Steve & Steve,
Thank you for the continued support lads greatly appreciated.
I've done a lot scrounging around for figures over the last two weeks to go with the XXX Corps project.
I also want to do a piece on the 101st so also I have been looking for American airborne figures too. (Easy Company of course)
I have about 10 US figures coming from Germany on top of the ones pictured.

I have made a decision to start painting the first two projects before assembling the next one. So I have started on the first figure
of the officer from the battle scene.
cheers

Hi Simon, Malc, Steve & Nigel,
Thank you, yes a lot to do but starting to get on with it now. I have been held back waiting for a new airbrush to arrive. Well it arrived and I have used it today.
I have base coated the smocks and trousers on 12 Para's in the time it took me to hand paint 2.
I really like my new Paasche Talon so easy to use and comes with 3 needle sizes 0.25, 0.38 and 0.5.
Also purchased some Alpine and Hornet heads of Steve Kirtley for future projects.
cheers
Richie

Hi Nap,
Yes spent a small fortune lately, but I thought I needed to do a piece on Easy Company for Market Garden having just watched band of brothers again.
cheers

Great step forward mate, it makes sense using the airbrush if you have a full production line going on. Also helps keeping some consistency in the colours used. Must have been hard work waiting for the brush with so.much you want to get on with though.

Cheers Simon
