This is the last of a series of reviews from Ares Mythologic Miniatures and depicts Ares, God of War in 70mm white metal with the kit consisting of 11 white metal parts.

This kit is packages in a sturdy cardboard box with all the parts sandwiched between layers of foam. All the small parts are sealed within a small clear zip-lok bag to insure against loss while shipping. The bottom photo shows all the parts laid out for inspection.

Above you see the four sides of the separate cast head and helmet.

Above you see the main section of the torso with the upraised right leg cast separately.

Above is the front and back of the right leg. The right leg dry-fitted up underneath the figure perfectly.

Above is the front and back of the right and left arm with the hand cast with the left arm.

Above you see several views of the cape along with the right hand holding the spear.

Above is a photograph of the front and back of the crest for the top of the helmet as well as the front and back of the sword in the scabbard.

Above you have several views of the 2 part white metal base for the figure.

Above are several photographs of the painted box figure that is included on the front of the box.

Conclusion:
A very well sculpted and engineered kit depicting Ares, the God of war. All dry-fitting was excellent. Some seam lines need to be removed prior to painting. Highly recommended.
