This is a beautifully sculpted and cast 90MM. Soldier figure.
This figure has been patiently on my work bench waiting to be finished.
The ground work needs a little more work, and the figure needs to be weathered.
Your input and advice is welcome.

The figure is beautiful. I do think you need to change the color of the ground work though, it looks like the legs and ground work are all the same piece. Chris

    Virgilius, thanks.

    Burnishing technique on the armor.
1- cleaned the figure with an old tooth brush and some ivory dish washing detergent.

2- I brushed the armor with a sweade brush.

3- Gave the armor numerous controlled washes of mars black.

4- shaded the folds of the armor and deliniation with mars back straight out of the
    tube.

5- Figure put in the oven to dry over night at a warm temperature of 140 degrees.

6 - When dry , I highlighted the extremities using a burnishing tool.

7 - When completely dry , I will give the bottom half of the armor a controlled
wash of Raw umber, the mixture for this wash is thicker than the previos wash.

8- I will add some rust spots around the rivets and under armpits, and where ever else needed.

    I hope this helps

    Hello Roc!

As others I do like the armour and metallic effects. Real nice and to scale.
Perhaps a little more shading of the yellow blazon? At the lower part in the back?
