I'm trying to prime a figure totally in black, but have so far used Andrea's matt black but it's dried with a sheen after a couple of thinned coats.I painted it over an initial primer of Citadel's Skull White (spray can)As i need it to be totally matt can anybody give me some advice regards a matt acrylic black that will work

Hey Brian! Someone suggested on this forum that you can add a little bit of Tamiya or gunze flat base to your paint mix; I tried with gunze and it worked like a charm.

You said you wanted to 'prime' it matt black!? Citadel offers a matt black primer in a spray can. Dead matt. :)
Also Liquitex Basic Matt Black is dead matt black no matter how many coats you apply.
