Absolutely inspired by Euro to paint, but really wanting to give something new a try. Really early days on this one, but a start......
Got to say the quality of the casting is great.

Just seeing your Pegaso 90mm I think this will turn out to look like a charm (like most of your work). Great start so far.

    Hardy,
This one is for our next show in Antwerp:D:D

Good start as always on this one.
Do you never prime your figure at once, and why not.

I like to watch your early steps on that figure, this will turn out to an exceptional piece, no doubt. I very much like your faces and that one has its own soul. Looks fantastic again.
    best regards,

Very cool Hardy, do you prime your figures?
  11. Hardy Guest

Thanks Robert and Ernest. Yes I do prime my figures in black, the reason I have not primed the whole figure is because Im still handling it to paint the face. Hardy

    me too!

i was taught the same Hardy many years ago; its a good technique! very frustrating having primer rub off , i dont trust spray cans! looks great! liking the handling of the face mate. is this kit also 90mm?

    regards --- tim. :)
  13. Hardy Guest

    Hardy,
    Why to prime in black?

    Black Undercoating

i would guess Hardy uses Black undercoat both to deepen his colours and to save on endless BlackLining with a Brush! Am i correct Hardy? its why i use it! but then i come from a Games Workshop background where Black is the preferred/most common undercoat.

you got me eyeing this one up! Andrea 90's are very reasonably priced arent they ? i am not big on WW stuff Hardy but its such a nice pose that it has an almost classical study feel to it. might give one a try.

    all the best ---- tim:)
