    Hi friends,
    see our April new releases.
    I´ll hope you like.
    Thanks

S9-B26. AFTER THE BATTLE, C 1250.RESIN AND WHITE METAL CASTING. 1:10. READY TO ASSEMBLE AND PAINT

SG-F135. FREDERICK THE GREAT, 1760. WHITE METAL CASTING. 54MM. READY TO ASSEMBLE AND PAINT

SG-F136. GRENADIER, 1ST RED LIFE BATALLION “LANGE KERLS”, 1720. WHITE METAL CASTING. 54MM. READY TO ASSEMBLE AND PAINT. Potsdam Giants
The figure is a faithful depiction to of one of the famous Prussian grenadiers known as “Potsdam Giants”. Prussian King Friedrich William I formed this astonishing elite guard corps with exceptionally tall men ranging from seven to nine feet high. True “giants” collected and even purchased out of every European country, at enormous expense.

I already have the Templar bust on order, one of the best I have seen for a while, looking foward to painting that face.

Oh, yeah gonna get that bust for sure! I'll likely pick up the Figure International as well just to see the article on the painting of it as well.

The painting of the bust is amazing! I like the natural tones, I don't remember seeing such a naturally and realisticly painted face.
Will the English version of the magazine be available in Europe as well?
    Thanks

All hail Julio Cabos, the painter of the bust!
But can anyone tell me who sculpted this beauty.
I'm afraid it overshadows the other releases.

Not certain of this, but I think I saw a pic of this bust in two different painting schemes in a recent European show gallery. I can't find the link though. Anyway, the busts were in a figure display of other work by Joaquin Palacios. He may have sculpted it.

Wasn't there a Robin Hood figure released this month as well? I have a friend that would love that one and was looking forward to getting a hold of it.

Without a doubt, that bust is going to be at every show over the next few years, and I can't see how I can avoid buying one myself!

    Hi Ray
Would love to follow your thread on EPH but unfortunately i've been barred from Augie's forum due to a difference of opinion i had some time ago and i was excommunicated.
Any other way i could follow your thread?

Hi Brian, ah its that same problem you had re my bust of the Maltese Furban mate :(

Have you tried Einion's idea of staying as a guest or is it I already suggested this to you and you still encountered that problem?

Let me know how it goes and we'll try and work out something else

Sergey, the painter of the bust is Julio Cabos, but I've had no luck finding the name of the sculptor so far.
    Does anyone know?

    Hi Ray

Hows it going mate, its fine with me and my lot thanks, how about yours. Thanks for the link to EPH, interesting reading, I am planning on trying to get one done for Euro, lots of interesting conversion work to do to it, but we will see how it goes, especially with the pointers given on EPH.

I've been sent the article from Augies site and see that he's still not changed much since i was barred ,so maybe it's a good thing that he's stopped me from the right to reply as no doubt i would be excommunicated again.
I've bought the odd Andrea figure in the past and have had no problem with their quality, but maybe its because i've been selective.
The bust in question which Augie finds fault with (whats new?) is a must have, for me.Augie speaks at length about the sword over the back and the belts etc ,etc but nobody has said anything about the anotomically incorrect neck area, if viewed from the side, but i don't give a fig ,as i like the bust and i've ordered the bust.I've never had the pleasure of buying one of Augie's busts as i find them tooo large and only good for door stops.
At the end of the day we're talking about a hobby and although most figures have their shortcomings if you like it buy the bloody thing and enjoy!!!
    Brian
