Hello Guys. It was about time to stop travelling and start painting a bit . This is one of a series of figures i will be painting till May for Athens Show International competition.

Its United Empires Palace Guard, an 80 mm resin figure sculpted by Alan Ball. A very nice figure, from a high skilled sculptor, and nicely casted. Fit was nice, cleaning was minimum. Its painted in acrylics, plus some printers inks and oils.

Scenery is the kits base extended , plus the arch scratch construction to match my needs.

    have fun guys

    Brother,
very nice painting representing the colorful dresses of Ottoman Palace Guards. I also liked the additions you made on the scenery. As this figure painted for Athens 2007, I better inform you and all on that this year there will be an award for best painted Ottoman-Turkish figure named Hitite Sun.
