An old figure.

    I did this figure some years back. He won a silver at Chicago, and I gave him to Rick Johnson as a gift. I wonder what happened to him when he passed away?

    The stance of this figure looks alot like the new Ultracast release.
    I like what you did with this one.

    Yea, that new figure got me thinking about this old piece. I used a commercial head and I sculpted everything else.

    It may be that we used the same photo as reference for our sculpts. Who knows? I was working on doing some figures for the Ma.K kits and was thinking I would do one inspired by RAF pilots from WWII. I thought of a great pose and it was just like Mike's 90mm "Sailor" Malan. I looked up photos of that figure and thought" Oh that is why it seems so familiar." So it happens. :) The photo that inspired this figure the pilot had a pipe in his hand. held between his thumb and for finger like he had been taping it against his leg. I had made the pipe but did not like it when I played with it. So I just did not use it.
