    Hi all,

I finally found some time to do some more painting and took some pictures of it. The upperbody should be ready (except for the left hand which needs some more highlighting and the mud on the left arm needs to be blended in). The lower right part is finnished painting but needs to be mudied. I also included a picture of the very early stage of the groundwork.

I appreciate all comments. Thanks for looking.
    Greetz,

    Gino

    Hi all,

The figure is ready (I just need to place "something" inhis hands). Hi painted completely with acrylics. The "mud" was made by mixing various Mig pigments with Vallejo Satin and Gloss varnish. The "snow" was a mix of micro balloons and Vallejo gloss varnish.

As for the groundwork; the "rocks" are painted. The general form of the ground was build up using Das pronto. The Armand Bayardi received some roots sculpted out of Duro/Green stuff. I hope to have this project finnished after the weekend. I'll post more pics when ready.

All comment are appreciated a lot.

    Greetz,

    Vele groetjes,

    Gino.

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the comments. I'm thinking of using several layers of the microballoo/varnish mix for the snow. Is there someone who knows about how much snow there was in the Ardennes end of december 1944/ beginning of january 1945? Many thanks in advance.

    Greetings,

    Gino

    Hi Gino,

great looking figure, great face and shading of the coat, the contrast is just right. I like the snow on the coat and boots, it looks very realistic and gives that winterly feel. I am looking forward to seeing it finished.

    Regards,

    Luka
