Great job Alan ! This is an excellent, fun figure to paint - Taesung's sculpting is right on - I especially like the body language of this guy. I did one a few months ago meself (although it took a "bit" longer than 15 hours !) for Mark Bannerman's upcoming Osprey book on painting Heer panzercrew (Sept. 2006 release)

    Again, an outstanding rendition !

    Cheers,

    Brian

    Hi Alan :) !
GREAT JOB on the DAK figure (y) !!!! So sorry for not being able to meet-up while you were in Singapore ; I was working then and only got off work at 8 p.m. that Thursday evening :( !!!! Perhaps the next time that you're planning to travel across the Causeway you could give me a little more advance "warning" 'cos I'd really like to meet-up and " talk shop " with you. Thanks and cheers !
    Kenneth.

    Dear all,

Thanks for the positive comment... Given the number of figures sitting in my cupboard, more than 500+ of all scale, I would have to speed up significantly or else not able to finish until my retirement

    Artur,
Thanks for your adobe photoshop tip, should improve the picture quality in the future.

    Hi Allan
    Very nice paintjob!
    I love this figure.
I had the chance to see some of your beautifully painted figures at Torrent show and later at home(when Calvin stayed for some days here),and I was impressed by the quality and personal style of your painting.
I too would want to see some lighter pictures.
    best regards

Very good painting. I especialy love the facial expression and the lizard. I only doubt the blueish colour of his jacket.

    Hi Jaume,

Thanks for the compliment from a master like you. I too saw your figure in flesh when Calvin brought it to Singapore, and also the one that you swap with Gino. Still amaze your flesh tone and characters on the face. Looking forward to your new Osprey book. Take care.

Hi Patrick.. Apology for the poor photoshot, the actual color of the jacket is more of offwhite with touch of sand color then blue as appears here...
