I think this kit qualifies as a classic. I’m well along, but wanted to take some pics in case I screw up the face with his warpaint. Hope to get it done within the next week. I think the headdress will be tough, with forty sets of feathers to add. D9124AB2-356E-48F1-9F3E-B20C3D52A059.jpeg C72C748B-4401-4603-977A-CFC2744EAE6E.jpeg A451AA60-BBF9-4B50-BD14-703748B81584.jpeg

Best of luck with the headdress. I did this kit when it came out ( IIRC around early 80's).
    I still have nightmares.;)
Rather dated now but makes a nice model.

That kit was my first 90mm. I finally had luck with putting the feathers on from the crown of the head outward.

Looking good as you approach the dreaded feather stage, I also bought this when first released and after all this time it's still in the box due the the feathers lol.

Matt have you tried fly fishing feathers? Easier to work with.....

    Very nice work so far.
I've seen this figure occasionally at shows, and it always looks fantastic.

Classic maneuver: I just noticed the bow was out of alignment and pushed on it, breaking off the arm. Duh!

Getting the sub assemblies together; the headdress will be last after another round with the brushes. 90A838D7-5802-4E3C-8E49-765ADEF0BF98.jpeg D988FCA7-3BC3-4777-84FA-94DC32443DCE.jpeg C0ADA717-1DF8-4FC5-9CDA-F32C10B6A074.jpeg C6623BBB-B611-4864-BD50-3A4F70882EB0.jpeg

Well done for getting past the broken arm issue without ditching the figure, your well on your way to having a really nicely painted classic figure in you cabinet so just that last wee push and you will be there.
