Has anyone read any of the historical fiction from Alfred Duggan? I never heard of him before but am reading Count Bohemund, a piece of fiction based on the 1st crusade, and it is fantastic. Any recommendations of other titles by him?

Duggan wrote a number of historical novels well set in historical knowledge,
I can recommend several all available in paper back from Amazon (and others)

Winter quarters, two Gaulic cavalrymen who serve with Caesar and then with Crassus in the Partian campaign.
Knight with Armor - a study of the first crusade from the standpoint of a young norman knight.
concience of the king - a story of the early Saxon kingdom in Britain.

    Others are equally good.
