    Hi everyone,
this is what i am working on at the moment. All done in acrylics. I am always struggling with "flat" leather parts as it is on the inner side of the shield to give it a used look. I am not happy at all with the result i achieved. Has anyone got advice for me? All comments are welcome. 20210922_164748.jpg 20210922_164359.jpg 20210922_164102.jpg

Yes, try using washes and glazes of dark brown (several shades, building up from light to darker, working the wet surface to achieve an uneven result.
