It wasn't the Wright brothers or a German but those clever Greeks that first flew!!!

A horrible lie.I never throw things naked.I always dress up first but I haven't quite mastered the flawless technique of Myronas' Discobolos....but then again I suppose I am not a very characteristic specimen of a Greek (those damned sixpacks...so difficult to maintain...ha,ha).Welcome home sailor.Glad to see that you didn't waste time before getting back to your old tricks.Useless to say how much I like your work and this one in particular,I've said it many times before. This is turning spectacular.I think that when the flag is added there will not be anything missing.Alternatively you can add one or two more flags tucked between the standing figure and the bishop (of course only the topmost part will be visible the poles ,disappearing off the figures base, being held by invisible to the viewers freedom fighters). I'd suggest sending you a couple of ideas on Greek revolutionary flags and standards but I know that you, having become a fully fledged honorary Greek , most certainly have enough of them on your pictorial archive so I just wait to be amazed by the final outcome.Have a beautiful day Rog.

:) Thank you Oda. Work on the flag will continue today.
Although more flags is a good idea I think I will stay with the plan. Strangely enough I do have some images of other Greek revolutionary flags saved..... just in case. ;)

As far as six packs go this is more like it,

Ha,ha,yes these are easier to maintain I guess...
Looking forward to seeing your progress on this vignette. It is a shame you are so many miles away.It would be very cool if you could submit this and your other Greek subjects for the upcoming Athens show in Spring or Summer 2017.
