    Hi all and welcome back....
Some of you were asking about African Ranger Diorama.
    a premise:
This is a tribute to all those brave rangers who lose their lives to fight the ivory poacher.
I just post a WWF's bulletin of last year: "More than 100 wildlife rangers died on the job in Asia and central Africa over the last year, nearly half killed by poachers, the WWF reported Tuesday."
This is terribly sad and shameful and I feel the need to tell their story. Many of these Men and Women lose their lives to protect a heritage that belongs to us all. Remeber this!

So I did it and I decided to create a true hero of our times... I have a degree in natural Science so for me is normal looking for people that protect our environment and our world... In my vision Heroes are all that people that through inventions or facts they change this world in a positive way. This is just my personal point of view clearly.

So this is the resin Kit: a wildlife Ranger with 3 different heads sculpted by Claudio Casini and 2 White Rhinos sculpted by Simone Rasetti.

White Rhino, you know, is one of the kings of Africa that technically is extinct... and it is a loose for all of US....

    You have 54mm Kit complete

    Just Rhinoceros 54mm

    or 75mm African ranger....

you can use them as you wish....

    I hope you like it!

    Gp

Thank you Dolf, i think that is task of my company give "punches in the stomach".
I can't change the world, but i think that modellisms or model making could denounce or inform trought art....
be clear i am not a pacifist and i have nothing against soldiers models... :)
But i believe in some of different, "thinking out of box" some peoples says....

These rangers form a kind of bodyguard for the last few surviving white rhinos in the Sweetwater Game Reserve Park in Kenya ...

Beautifully done, and thought provoking Gianpaolo. Sadly, the mediaeval mindset of some people will always mean wildlife remains under threat.

i Know....that's why i need also modellers that likes tasks and they improve their abiliteis to denounce them also in modelling contest....That's is so important...a lot of people ignore it...and painting will wispread message!

Regrettably the best way of preserving these amazing beasts is for them to be 'dehorned', although it has always amazed me that anyone caan consider keratin, the main constituent of rhino horn and fingernails(!) to be an aphrodisiac.

    Hi Gianpaolo,

    "I can't change the world"

If each one of us changes, for the better, together we are changing the world, into a more positive one, every single day. So yes, you can, I can, every one of us can, that's how the world changes IMHO (y)

"be clear i am not a pacifist and i have nothing against soldiers models... :) "

We modelers probably all started by collecting, assembling and painting "soldiers"/military stuff. That was the only option available in the old days...
But times change, and some of us change as well... evolve... ;)

Keep up the great work Scientific Models has been doing, by doing that you're doing your part, your way. In the end that's all that really matters, each one of us doing the best he/she can to help things change for the better of all :)
IMHO this is how tomorrow will be a better and brighter day than today

    Cheers!
