    Hello
    Two pieces available soon.

    Zawisza the Black (1379-14280
    54mm resin figure
    054 0001
    sculpted by Maciej Dauksza

Zawisza the Black at Tannenberg (Grunvald) 1410
    54mm figures
    054 0002
    sculpted by Maciej Dauksza

Zawisza ( Zavisha ) the Black ( coat of armas - Sulima ) was a Polish knight and diplomat. He won many tournaments and took part in many battles.
In 1410 he fought at Tannenberg. In 1416 he participated in a tournament in Perpignan were he defeated the strongest knight in Europe, John of Aragon.
In 1428 he fought the Turks at the battle of Golubec ( today Serbia ) in wich he was captured and later murdered. Zawisza the Black is a symbol of courage and honor. Today in Poland when we try to introduce someone as a
honest and trustworthy person, we say that you can rely on that person as on Zawisza.
    Best regards
    Roman

Beautiful sculpting on both pieces Roman. I like the pose of each horse. I look forward to seeing the box art done for both.
