I haven't painted anything in close to ten years but I'm going to start again right after visiting the Chicago show for inspiration. It'll take me that long just to find where I stashed everything so I was wondering, what is the shelf life for Vallejo acrylics? After 10 years will they be any good or will I need to shake each one til my arm falls off?

Hi Mike

Wonderful to see you starting again after a little hiatus...lol

This might help

My thoughts based on the many pots and containers I have , a lot not touched for a while ...they do separate but a lot of shaking and adding a stainless ball bearing helps and away I go again !

Hey Nap,

Thanks for the reply. I do have a paint shaker and 50 or more bottles of different brand acrylics. If I start shaking now, I should be ready by the end of the month! It's good to know the paints might still be ok to use.
