Model Cellar Productions recently released the Bust of Col. R.I. Baladur Dhanpat Rae, In service to the Maharajah of Jaipur. This 200mm kit comes in 4 resin parts with color guide and historical note.

Arriving in Model Cellar's sturdy brown cardboard box the kit was sealed inside a clear plastic bag and wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the parts during shipping.

Conclusion:
Another excellent kit by Model Cellar Productions. Some clean up required on the back of the neck (will be covered by cloth). Highly recommended for those interested in this period of history.



 
That is just too cool for words!!!!!!!! Great review Guy, thanks for posting. Yet another kit I am going to buy and either paint badly or not paint at all while it sits on my WB mocking me.
 
Both the subject choice and presentation of bust are curious enough. Really appreciate when a manufacturer goes outside the box and comes up with novelties like this.

Fantastic figure bust! This is what it's all about, learning something new about a historical subject! Good to see the colour references to back up the paint job, all the detail that's needed. A proud family.

I purchased this bust at Crewe in Feb and had great fun painting it. I was lucky enough to win a first place at our local BMSS meeting with it. A really good bust indeed. I think the photo of the mural in his home is terrific.
