    Hi guys

I did this figure some time ago of a Lancier Polonaise de La Garde Imperial in a rainy and windy day.
A used a Historex horse, transformed in some parts:enlarged the thin body, and did the crine, tail and bridle.
The figure is also Historex, and must of the work was to create the raincoat moved by the wind.
I made is also the cask cover, hands and lance.
The tree was create to increase the windy idea.
I used acrylic for the soldier and the horse was painted with oils and acrylic.
    All yours comments are welcome.

    Hi Adriano
A really beautiful figure and scene. Very skillfull use of Historex parts and inventive and atmospheric groundwork.

One minor thought I had was that if the mane and tail on the horse were more 'wind swept' they might compliment the tree and cape better - but please don't take this as a criticism, your piece is very nice.

    Cheers

Very nice piece. I agree with the above praise and critiques... may I add, what caught my eye was the good job you did on the horse's tack... reins, bit/bridle, worn look of the leather, the hardwear, all nicely done. Good attention to what is often left as an afterthought.

    Cheers

    Hi Adriano
Wonderful work well thought out conversion ,the small attention to detail in different areas are the ones that so often make the biggest effects

Well done. I really enjoy the trooper's cloak and the tree. How did you achieve the oilskin cover effect?

    bistray,
and to Jaybo about the olilskin cover is done with some Miliput, and to give a general wet look I used a brilliant transparet varnise over many part of the figure an horse.

Very nice. Love the idea and how you executed it. Making a cloak with all that folds is not easy but I think you managed it well.

    Best regards Lars
