This is to take my mind off the trials and tribs of the vignette , an easy assemble and paint
Looks like a fine figure Ron.
Your groundwork is very impressive here.
All the very best,
MM figure Keith, you got to hand it to B leibovitz his detailing is second to none , the pelisse on this figure is incredible its a shame to paint it.
I am sure that you will do it justice Ron.
I love these MM figures, as you say detail is second to none, Great ground work.
Looking good Ron.
Guess you would call that your "1st Light Cavalry Diversion" Ron.
Pushed this on a wee bit.
Painting around the sword and sabretache slings is going to be fun
Dilemma , Is english or american spelling
Do I undercoat black and do zenith al lite over spray and glaze up the color in acrylics
or go for oils
Ron, there is only English spelling, everything else is just mistakes.
Looking good so far Ron ,groundwork looks great.
Like it Ron,
Is he old guard Chasseur a cheval on campaign winter?
Or elite Co line Hussars. ?
I believe its the Sgt, mounted chasseur of the Guard 1805. MM the ref number MLCGI
Thanks Bob, I knew that's what the kit was, but , ......wondered what Ron was painting it as !
He could even do him as a trumpeter !
Ah , then we will have to wait............. patiently.
Hi bob and Paul.
Yes boys Chasseur Del a Garde , it went belly up at the last kick of the ball on Sunday evening so has been stripped and is now on its top coat of oils .
Bob was the base you were referring to , the one on this model .
Better luck this time then Ron,
Should end up a cracker, I did wonder if you were following the recent 'theme'.
One could almost think you were going for all the variants of the regiment !
All the best,
And I agree with bob ref the groundworktoo, it's super
Definitely on a Chasseur kick at the mo waiting on all the spare parts to arrive from MM for the vignette
I may have mentioned before about your impeccable choices and good taste !
