    Hi Mike,

Like the one a the start with the goose & goslings, made me smile.

They are all very good, are they all in 1/35?

    Hi Lew,

Yes, All 1/35th. The scenery and buildings are built from scratch, with most figures either stock or modified from Dragon and Tamiya sets, save for the "Jap Hunters" piece, where the figures are scratch built from spare parts and heavily modified. The Civil War scene is made up of mixed brands, such as Shenandoah.

As I mentioned, these are older works of mine averaging 10 to 20 years or so ago.

    Glad you like them.

Really cool Mike! I especially like how you've done your dirt and grass terrain, I think it's very well done. I think the Confederate scene is my favorite with the action it portrays and the terrain work. And that little detail called painting....fantastic as well! ;)

    Cheers,

    Thanks Karrie and Carl. :)
I came up with the "Convoy Kaputt" scene while trying to figure out what I was going to do with the Goose in Tamiya's farm yard animal set.

    Great stuff Mike!
You have a very good eye for finding interesting compositions and fascinating details.
If these are 10-20 years old, it makes me very curious about your recent work...

    Cheers,
    Adrian

Ken: Congrats on great work in such a tiny scale. . .

    Ken:

Congratulations on such lovely work. You do know how to tell a good story. I
recognized so many of those early Tamiya 1:35th scale figures. And I
still have a lot of those old sets with the beautiful box art, that I use for
arms and legs from time to time, with substitute hands, naturally.

The first of your photos with the Kraut with the bicycle held up by
the quacker's family and the Pont du Hock vignette are most
impressive IMHO, along with your ACW vignette. You really
have a wonderful feel for terrain. . . "the world isn't flat"
kind of thing! Most impressive. . .

    Cheers Adrian and Ricardo.

Regarding newer work, I model figures, aircraft, armor, and ships. I've spread a lot of time out between them all. I really need to buckle down and complete some newer figure offerings, as well as get back into sculpting them.

I like them a lot! I seem to have the same interest of subject like you do (US WWII and mid/late 19th century USA) so this was a treat. Thank you for sharing!

    Cheers Eric.

Actually my interests are all over the place, so most will find something they like subject wise in my collections. This is what I had on hand to present in this photos session.
