Here are a couple of Hussars I just completed. The 7th is figurines piece sculpted by Raul Latorre and the 1st Hussar is conversion of a Pegaso figure. I borrowed the idea from Gallardo. His is much better but I decided to give it a try.

    Any comments/critiques are welcome.

They look great, Dave! I love the blue jacket - what was your mix for that? Nice groundwork on both. Will I see these in Atlanta?

Thanks for the comments guys. I do not know if I will make it to Atlanta. That weekend is the same weekend as my twin's birthday. If I come it would only be on Friday.

    Jay,

I am an acrylics guy although I will use oils for horses and some other things.

    Jason,

The blue mix I borrowed from Danillo Cartacci's book. I used Prussian Blue, Medium Blue, light flesh and black. I added light flesh(he uses white) for the highlights. I then added prussian blue and black for the shadows.
