I had this bust at home long time ago. In fact I enjoy a lot painting busts, much more if they are at this top quality. I had it started before decide to go to Monte San Savino and my idea was to play with color without being too much accurate with context.

In this case I used cold tones in one side and warm ones in the other side, looking for a contrast effect between thyem enought to be seen but subtle enought to not look as a forced lighting effect (OSL).

I really enjoyed this one a lot. Maybe it will go unnoticed but for me fun was the most important this time. And at the end it won bronze with my other crusader bust in Master Historical Painting.
