    Hola Guys!

Here is the painted figure. Sorry about the crappy pictures...still trying to figure it out!

Painted with Reaper Acryllics and Vallejo for the skin tones.

Hey Anders, Wow, that is very nice! I'm not familiar with the uniforms of that period, is he wearing a hat over another hat? Nice ground work too! What's wrong with the pictures, I think they look great! What kind of new camera do you have now? Are you bringing this figure to Chicago? See you there.

    Thanks Nick!

I've got a Nikon D60 that replaced the stolen D40 :( They are not all that sharp and the figure looks much better in person. Oh well, one of these days!

He is wearing one hat, it had both a frontal and a back visor on it. The most interesting thing about this particular uniform is that the lace was removed, and as such I tried to show the less faded red where the lace used to be. Kind of neat detail of the 1/91st Regt of Foot!

Well done, those Reaper paints are working well for you.Do you find them any different than
    Vallejo or Andrea?

    Hola Jay,

Thanks! I really do like the Reaper paints! They are a lot 'lighter' then the vallejos and can be dilluted more and still have plenty of pigments in them. It just seems like they are a 'fluffy' version of Vallejos, but much flatter. I realize fluffy is a strange word to use for paints, but they really spread out nice and blend great.

Nick, I should have it at Chicago!

    Great work.
I like the color of the uniform very much.
The facial expression is also very wonderful.
    I congratulate completion.

Ray, you will see this at Euro, and you will see that the removed lace is not quite so visible in person, which was the intention!
