I have start to paint my first 90 dwarf from Prickett. At the moment I try to find a colour scheme and the eyes of that dwarfs. I think I find the eyes but they are very difficult to paint.

Very good start Ulrich. I think the earth tones you have used really suit these type figures.
The problem with eyes is the look fine till you take a photo and look at them far more enlarged than anyone would see them with the naked eye.

Very nice start. I agree. I think that there are not a lot of eyes to paint in this serie of figures.

I agree with Roger and Alex, a fine start on a challenging figure (y)
So much texture means going very deep in the shadows and not overdoing the highlights.
The eyes are a real pig to paint, the trick with this type is to give a sparkle ..... try this, gloss varnish and when dry rather than do the catchlight in white do it in bright silver, just a tiny dot. Easy to wipe off the varnished eye if you don't like it.
    Cheers

Not ready, but that dwarf needs only some fine tuning. It is my first painted dwarf from Russia and I had much fun. Please have a look at the special "emergency ration" under the book on the back
