Just finished this one.
Waw, very nice !
Wonderful painting! Love the uniform on this chap!
A stunning paint job Paul.
Perfect paintwork all around.
First class paintwork Paul.
Also congratulations to Metal Models for the muscle structure of the face, spot on for a competent trumpeter........no bulging cheeks.
Well done mate.
Beautifull as always!!
Great work and looks like the MM faces are getting better with there sculpting! Can you give some tips how you did the wool parts of the saddle because it looks really great!
Yes, this is a white sheep wool shabraque.
I used a mix of titanium white, mars black, mars yellow and raw umber.
Thanks for the help. It looks really great the wool very natural!! I really love youre Napoleon figures.
Just great work on this piece from my favourite Manufacturer..........What colour mix did you use on the jacket if you don't mind sharing? I have this one in the Grey army and it looks like an interesting mix you have used,
Very basic Keith: titanium white and cadmium red. Lights with more white, shadows with a part of caput mortuum ( in fact a mars purple).
Very nice and very clean painting. The horse is outstanding, very well painted and mottled
I love it. The pink, the chasseur green and the tone of the horse as well as the saddle fur are perfect.
The grass from the ground is very realistic too.
I like the little details as the numbers, laces, horns etc.
Very clean work.
Military miniatures painted by Eduardo Garcia
Whoa, Nellie. . . very impressive and nice photographs too.
But what literally blew me away, made my day, . . . was
the painting of the dapple grey on the horse. Just
amazing work. Congratulations.
Oh wow, that is so nice! Congratulations on an excellent finish.
Thanks for the info Paul, if mine turns out 50% as good as this I will be a happy man
