    Hi Guys,

I took a little break after the Chicago show. I hadn't painted anything since October. I decided to paint this on a whim. My first try on Trews! Ugg, talk about a pain in the a$$!

    All comments welcome,

Please pardon the picture, I still haven't figured that out.

    Hi Mike

Like your style of painting on a lovely little figure

Trews look okay pictures might look better against a lighter background ...currently working on 2 x 72nd ( bust conversions in sculpting part of PF .."What's on my bench") ...no tartan anywhere..phew!!

    Thanks for sharing

    Nap

PS ..put it into FOTM .?

Nicely done and the trewes look very good. You are also right--trewes are a right royal pain in the a** to paint.

    Nap,

thanks for taking the time to reply. I took your advice and took a picture in a lighter background. Looks like my I phone takes better pictures than the Cannon!

Thanks and yes they are! Keeping track of patterns is pain! Too much math involved for a painter. :)
