    Hi guys,

just some pics of my latest "fit-in" project. My take on the Soveriegn 95th rifles bust (thanks Nap!) lightly converted to a 60th Foot.

Conversion work was limited to removal of caplines and retextured shako and the "repair" on the right epaulette, with tatty tufts added to both.

Still some tidying to do on the paintwork, matting down some surfaces, here and there. All done in acrylics.

    Thanks for looking, (y)

Brilliant work on the textures Steve.
This looks like a fun piece to paint?
    Cheers,

Thanks chaps! Yes, its a nice straightforward painting job, no awkward to reach bits! The blanket is nicely sculpted with a very convincing texture. It proved to be a little tricky to get paint on, I got around it by applying several washes, building the shading into each layer. The results here are only two sittings, much quicker than my old enamels!
