Here's my latest pair of completed figures, a pair of white metal WW2 Russian subjects by EK-Castings, brush painted with Vallejos. A blog can be seen here.

    Hi Kimmo

Thanks for posting these , the EK figures do paint up,really well , both look great but the traffic controller is my favourite

Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our May's FOTM comp and also vote in Aprils classes as well

....And enter in Vignettes & Diorama #3 which will be running till 31/12/21 with voting till 31/01/22

Always good to see the artwork

    Thanks for sharing

    Look forward to the next

    Happy benchtime

These Russian castings are really nice. I have some George Cross Studio mounted ones. Agree with Nap, the girl with the flags is nice (directing traffic I think) ...

Indeed, she is directing traffic. She's based on a rather well known photo and movie clip from just after the war. A bit of info on her wiki page here. I will also have to get some of the George Cross Studio figures at some point. Napoleonics aren't really my thing, but they look too nice not to give a try.

Thanks Kimmo .. I'll check her out. Theres another Russian company called Magsold I think, they are on Instagram occasionally and seem to produce some really nice stuff as well ....

Found them at https://magsold.ru/, some interesting stuff and the prices look to be in the same ballpark as Studio Siberia. I've found that Russian shops often have an export price so take those with a grain of salt. Might have to investigate further some day, cheers.
