    Hello CQI!

    Welcom to the Planet!
I hope you will like it here.

You dont write much about this figure and your own thoughts. I like the leggins and the inside of the shield which is a very good rendition of wood. Also the metallic effect and shading of the helmet looks nice.

The outside pattern doesnt look viking-like to me? Also some of the clothing looks a little bit glossy. This could be an effect from the lightning when taking pictures and if not should be easy to fix on a otherwise good figure.

    Cheers

That aint the Dutch flag, it's a subliminal pepsi ad ;)

Very nicely done, the shading on the fabric looks exellent.
This is my favourite straight from the box 54mm.
Once painted you get a great end result, and that's what you have here.
    Regards

    Nice work CGQ.

    Two things:
In case English is not your first language, the title says warriors... there should be more than one.

On the shield colours, it's nice to see a nice simple pattern like this - much more likely that more elaborate designs we see done sometimes. But that specific shade of blue is very unlikely as it would have been extremely expensive at that time, if it were available at all.

Although expensive red and blue were popular and common colours in the viking community. As finds from excavations and sagas tell us. I even remember a mentioning of red/white striped sails?

One can only look at the extension of the trade routes stretching as far as Baghdad too get an hint of what could be available.

Seems like much of wealth in the viking community were put on appearance. Silk were very popular but very expensive. Especially women decorated their garbs with narrow stripes of silk. Even when the dress itself werent fancy in any way?

    Welcome and well done!

First, your English is Ok, for a second language.
    Second, very well done.
Third, we encourage you to ask here for reference advice and research help; a lot of people will share here.

Most of all, this is a very 'alive' figure.

    cheers
