For sure haha
The arrogance of the officer class of the French Army of teh Ancien Regime is beautifully captured here. Well done.
You couldn't have expressed better than that Huw.
blue, green, yellow, green, again and blue......bit like my eyes after a heavy painting session ......lol
Happy painting my friend
I have finished the Aurora and sky blue roday.
Lapels, cuffs and collr done.
I've layed the base color for the coat using vallejo Iraqui sand and a dab of English uniform.
Coat is done, perhaps some touch ups later.
The creaces on the arms are well pronounced, so i tried to do some blendimg but it is what is.
Added the baton/stick on its hand and gorget as well...
Another very interesting subject, lots of valuable information on uniforms and a great paintjob on top. What more can a modeller ask for?
Those facing colours look really good and the coat .....very nicely worked , perhaps a revisit later for highs a bit more ...
Looking forward to the next update
Looking wonderful so far Daniel. Love the haughty look.
Coming along nicely Daniel!
Indeed my friend, will take care of those later on.
Cheers Phil !
I have finished the touch ups on the coat, collar, lapels and fimished the vest and pants...
Gaiters done, shoulder belt done, coat tails with Fleur-de-Lys done as well.
