Here is the figure I started last night. I just needed to paint something to not forget how it is done. Im not 100% happy with it but it's doable I hope. It is a delayed X-Mas gift for my old man.

Go ahead and laugh, it's been a while since I tried painting something "seriosly".

The red piece of clothing is basically done except for some tweaking here and there, the green part just have one coat so far.

    Painted with Vallejos.

I would say Anders my friend that your job is not as bad as you as saying. The close up may not look that good indeed... but the pictures that are from a distance look super.

    Anders,

Great start man! I really like this figure. I bought the other one from Pegaso and wished I had got this one instead. Not sure what to do as far as patterns on mine. I will be anxiously waiting to see what you do on yours on how you paint them. Keep up the terrific work.

    Thanks guys!

    Brad,

I only painted a small symbol on the back, a completely fictitious, will take some pics later.

    Stehphen,

Honestly, I am not sure what the mix was. It was something like Carmine Red mixed with Flat Brown, with more red and some white added for highlights. Shadows were base + black.

    Bob,

Yeah, I'll be there, hope to see you there!
