Just finished this little guy up today after struggling with him for a little while (54's are smaller than I typically like to paint). He has a freakishly small right hand which is the only flaw of the sculpt. He is mounted on a turned base from "the Hussar". Please post any comments positive or negative.










I did notice a seam on his left hand that I need to correct.

Excellent painting Mike. The smaller 54mm figures are a challenge.

Looks good Mike, I like the colors you chose. Ya, that right hand does kind of remind me of the guy on those Burger King commercials

lovely use of earthy colours Mike and overall great job for 54mm.

I think the manufacturer should pull the figure back from production and correct that right hand for new moulds as its a great looking figure otherwise.

Thanks gents for the comments. Tony I am pretty sure this is a rendention of Liam Neeson's role in kingdom of heaven. I have seen a picture of him from the movie that is this exact pose. It was hard not to use those colors on this figure as they just seemed to fit. I agree with you Steve the figure is so good but that right hand is just a sore spot on it. I would like to see it corrected as it would make it an outstanding figure rather than just a good figure.Michael I need to come down to Dallas one weekend this winter and paint with you guys, there is serious painting going on down there.
