Dear friends, I present you figures in the size of 50 mm in the grotesque style.

I ask you to forgive me for my bad English. This text presentation was written in Russian and translated through an online translator.

Today I want to make a presentation of a new and unusual direction for me ... "Cartoon and grotesque figures in the size of 50 mm". Sculptor Igor Karpov. Part of the sets were made by Igor for his own project, part for the "Battaliya Miniature". The figures are very funny and not devoid of historical authenticity. The size from the sole to the crown (excluding the headdress) is 50 mm. The figures are made of resin in one piece or with a minimum number of parts. In the standard set there are 4 figures united by one theme.

On the Internet, you can already see many different vignettes with the participation of such figures, because Igor Karpov found the perfect combination of the size of the miniature being created with their good detail.

I am sure that figurines in this style and in this size will soon become very popular all over the world. Themes and stylization will be picked up by other sculptors. There are already grotesque models of tanks made in this scale and stylization, I hope that soon we will see other related elements - animal figures, equipment, game terrain, etc.

In fact, it turns out an alternative universe ... on a small area of the table or on a shelf, you can reproduce multi-figure genre scenes and compositions for different historical epochs in a grotesque style.

It is already possible to purchase:
    - Pirate Kits
    - Sets of the Russian army for the 17th and 18th centuries
    - Sets on the theme of the Napoleonic Wars
    - Sets on the theme of the First World War and the Civil War in Russia
    - Sets on the theme of the Second World War
    - A large set of "Russian types" - figurines of people of different professions from 1890-1910
    - A set of "Checkpoint" on the theme of the Russian army of the late 90s, early 2000s

To make it clear how these figures "come to life" in color, I want to show several such figures painted by a wonderful artist from Russia - Maxim Veretelnikov.

So, a section has been created on our website where you can view and purchase the first received sets, the theme will expand, there will be sets for other historical epochs.

Below I will publish news about the appearance of such novelties in my online store.

They are charming, and I have no doubt they will become very popular, if the "egg-plane" and "egg tank" genres are anything to go by. They are everywhere at shows - whole displays of them. I could see me painting some of these, especially the earlier Russian sets. Well done Chronos, and good luck with them!

I've looked at these before, they're great to go with the Meng Toon Tanks.
I'm really hoping that a UK supplier will emerge and make it easier for us here to get out hands on them.
If there's anyone out there, let me know

There are no such figures in European stores.

Postal shipments from Russia are not prohibited. But the parcels follow slower than before.
